- It is easily talked that the economic development and social development should go hand in hand. The human personality has another dimension of character development. Caring the Least of Mankind is committed to see this overall progress in developing the lives of children and youth where it works.
- Caring the Least of Mankind Trust (CLM) was established in the year 2007 to work particularly among the disadvantaged children and youth. We follow a three pronged approach in our work with children – Education, Character building and an encouraging environment.
- Individuals in the community who have the interest and willingness to work with disadvantaged children by giving their time or infrastructure are encouraged, trained and supported.
- We want this to become a movement within the community.
- The government officer from New Delhi who visited the office to verify the functional status of CLM Trust asked finally Dr R Chandrasekhar, the Director, what inspired him to start the service. “Justice for all who are oppressed” is the response of action of faith the cause for CLM emergence he said.

Accountability
In CLM Trust, accountability is a core value that we cherish. We strive continuously to make sure that every penny spent has a direct or indirect impact on the child or youth we work with. As a part of this, we have very strong financial and programme control mechanisms that ensures proper utilization with high quality of service. Internal and external audits are a part of the system.
The various activities of the Trust are detailed in the annual reports of the years of existence of the Trust.

Our Programmes
Opportunities To Participate
- CLM raises funds through sponsorship programme. Individuals who are willing to support a child to dream and work towards realizing the dream are encouraged to sponsor the child with a monthly support. The individual can decide to give the funds for the whole year or send it on a monthly basis.
- Apart from the sponsorship programme, funds are raised in the form of donations for specific projects that have a direct or indirect impact on the lives of children and youth we serve.
- Cheques and DDs to be drawn in favour of ‘Caring the Least of Mankind (CLM) Trust’ payable at Ranipet.
- For sponsoring a child’s nutrition and primary education for one month (Rs 7200/- for one year)
- For Vocational (job oriented) skill training for one youth that would enable the youth to either to get employed or be self-employed
- To support one youth to continue education and complete higher studies in the fields of Arts, Science, Engineering, Medical Sciences.
